Hi, I’m Creed Hawver. I recently graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, and I’m excited to bring my passion for copywriting and web design to a creative team.
Originally from San Diego, I’ve lived in several cities—Baltimore, Cincinnati, Orlando—and now call Charleston home. Growing up, I loved to read but never imagined I had a talent for writing. That changed during my senior year of high school when I wrote a short story for extra credit. To my surprise, my English teacher, Mrs. Wilkes, praised my work, published it in the school newsletter, and encouraged me to keep writing. That moment sparked a passion that has stayed with me ever since.
At the University of Florida, I pursued writing-focused courses and got involved with student organizations to sharpen my skills. The more I wrote, the more I discovered how much I love the creative process. Whether it’s developing compelling ad copy or building clean, engaging websites, I bring that same creativity and enthusiasm to everything I do.
I look forward to contributing my skills and passion to a team that values storytelling and design.

Portfolio
Here is a showcase of my work that highlights my ideation skills, creativity and technical proficiency.
DJ’s Cast Iron Burgers Campaign
At Elevate advertising agency, my team and I created the above campaign for the popular food truck DJ’s Cast Iron Burgers. We launched their TikTok page with fun promotional videos and interviews with satisfied customers. We also worked on their website’s digital elements to attract more customers. The campaign resulted in a 93% year-over-year growth.
Greater Gainesville Chamber Foundation Campaign
During my final semester, I collaborated with a team to develop a comprehensive advertising campaign for the Greater Gainesville Chamber Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to helping local students afford higher education. Our work included the creation of a full brand guide, featuring real-world applications to support consistent and effective brand promotion. We began by building on the foundation’s existing logo and color palette to expand its visual identity. The campaign focused on identifying new content strategies to increase awareness and engagement with the foundation’s mission.

BOB Native Advertising Project
I designed an advertising piece for the BOB training bag using Paint 3D for a native advertising project. The content was tailored to align with the style of the hosting platform Sherdog.com. The project highlights my ability to work creatively and strategically to meet the goals of the campaign.

University of Florida Photoshop Assignment
This piece was my submission for a Photoshop assignment at the University of Florida. It was created as a mock magazine advertisement. One of the things I enjoyed most was learning and using keying techniques to isolate the model, which allowed me to position the triangle behind her for a layered visual effect.
